Anastasia's observations of society and human nature are as relevant today as they were in ancient times. A collection of paintings and sculpture centered around Greek Mythology aim to modernize and bind ancient history and today’s modern world. A desire to share the culture and knowledge of her ancestors, IMMORTAL MORTALS delves into the juxtaposition of everyday mortals embodying the traits of the Gods.

Introducing Anastasia.

Melbourne-based artist Anastasia Nikakis works across various mediums and techniques, including oil on canvas and both plaster and bronze sculpture.

Her love of art began at a very young age, often finding inspiration in people, culture, fashion, colour and design. Many of her pieces feature faces and the female form, celebrating beauty, character, strength and joy.
